Luxembourg-city finally has its Decathlon

The sporting goods brand opened its 630m² store on the 3rd of February 2021 in Luxembourg city. Decathlon takes the opportunity to launch its e-commerce website for Luxembourg, a market in which the brand aims to grow with soon a second location.

Don't say Decathlon, but Decathlon City: the concept is resolutely urban with a focus on services, small equipment, and textiles, not to mention soft mobility solutions. All this is to be discovered in the Royal-Hamilius complex, on the side of rue Aldringen. The sports brand employs eight employees in a 630m² cell, on two levels, equipped with stands for repairing bikes and stringing rackets, but also a small gym area, which can be used for lessons, when sanitary measures permit.

Royal-Hamilius continues to fill up

This is the first opening for 2021 in the complex developed by Codic and managed by Firce Capital. Its managing director, Romain Muller, and its President, Christophe Fournage, are also delighted with this step, while the center still has nine vacant cells, not to mention the one dedicated to the restoration located on the top floors of the building.

"Today, we are in discussions with other brands and we hope to make announcements soon on their arrival" said Christophe Fournage (CEO of Firce Capital).
